Al·bee (ôlʹbē, ŏlʹ-, ălʹ-), Edward Franklin. Born 1928.
American playwright. Best known for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1962), he won a Pulitzer Prize in 1967 for A Delicate Balance, in 1975 for Seascape, and in 1994 for Three Tall Women.
