Kea·ton (kētʹn), Joseph Francis. Known as “Buster.” 1895-1966.
American actor who wrote, directed, and starred in silent film classics, such as The Navigator (1924) and The General (1926), in which he employed a deadpan expression and acrobatic artistry to great comedic effect.
